Noxon 90elf on Noxon 2 iRadio flash

Today I have borrowed from a colleague the Noxon 90elf. He did not the football channel, but instead the full functionality of iRadio. One thing I have at home, and he therefore recommended the device - without knowing that the 90elf may be less, I always thought that would be the same with additional soccer subscription.

Anyway, I have found a simple guide on how to reflashing the 90elf a Noxon iRadio 2:

- Noxon2 firmware download: http://ftp.terratec.de
-----> / NOXON/NOXON_2_audio/Updates/Beta / the latest version, currently the file TerraTec_NOXON_2_audio_Firmware_6923_for_bootloader_6834.zip

- Extract and then the Firmware Manager (if not already) install:
-----> the Firmware Manager are as under http://ftp.terratec.de/NOXON/NOXON_2_audio/Updates/ NOXON_2_Bootloader_6834_Firmware_6921.zip and here the file (in this project is in the latest currently not beta firmware included)

- Windows Enabler download and start
-----> http://www.angelfire.com/falcon/speedload/Enabler.htm (then scroll down and click "Download" click)

- Well, would have to start the Windows Enabler, down in the taskbar at the time a small new posts have appeared.

- Now start the Firmware Manager to wait until it finds the Noxon and firmware select, then click "TerraTec_NOXON2_Firmware_6921.bcd" (top downloaded firmware)

- Now comes the trick: To the Next button is selected, you click on the taskbar (systray) onto the Windows Enabler icon / logo.

- Now would the little Windows logo Enabler is a small "ON" position. Now you can click it on the gray "Next" button in the Firmware Manager and will be selected. Now click on it and the firmware update starts and runs through -> After the Noxon is patched to a Noxon2 and you can use all the features of the better Noxon second Furthermore, the ad slogan / jingle when turning away.

- For safety, even in the options set "Auto Update" on "NO" (which prevents a return to patching 90elf)

- If caught, the update is not a problem. Just the IP of the Noxon-Radio in the Internet browser type (this is usually seen in the Firmware Manager, look elsewhere in Noxon display) and then upload a firmware for the 90elf again (via the web interface). Then the radio is back up and you can try again.

PS: In Vista, the Enabler works well only when it starts in XP compatibility mode. I made all under XP and it has wonderful benefits funk!
