Propeller Selection Guide

First Impressions Kubuntu 9.04 aka Jaunty Jackalope "

Since my OpenSuse 10.2 now but slowly arg getting on in years (it will be published as no more security updates) and now include the installation of the ATI closed source driver has been rather unstable, I I decided to give Kubuntu 9.04 a chance.
The installation is done quickly, the only negative I noticed is the rather complicated partitioning tool - at least if you want to manually assign the partitions.
First impressions: The included KDE 4.2.2 is very stable and looks smart, even if here and there but again crashes of Konqueror or applet. Overall, however, to use very good ...
With these impressions I open my blog, in the next posts for the first time with several tips to (K) Ubuntu will focus 9.04, which have helped me during the installation or further device. I hope they help the one or the other!
